Little Red Riding Hood by Sybille Schenker

The illustration in this book is outstanding! the use of laser die cut paper and silhouette like illustrations do in fact enliven every page. It was almost inevitable reading the story and not want to feel on each and every page. I would recommend for this book to be read for fun at home and not so much as a school book. Most little red riding hood stories have changed and someway the wolf doesnt get to grandma or to little red riding hood. However this story, is has a little bit of a graphic ending where the huntsman cuts the wolf open to safe grandma and little red riding hood. Not sure how parents would feel or react to this particular piece.
