All About Turkeys by Jim Arnosky

What was it about? Its called All About Turkeys. What do you THINK it was about? HA!
It was called All About Turkeys and it sure was, with lots of facts and fake pictures [paintings]. And it had hard words, but fact books usually do.
Ive seen groups of turkeys. One time we saw a bunch of them just walking across the road by Lake Elmore. There were about three dozen of them and I dont think any of them were babies, and Mama said Why did the turkey cross the road? Because he wasnt chicken! HAHAHAHA!
See, but heres the thing. I said it was ALL about turkeys, but the reason I got this one was because I wanted to find out more about turkeys and why people eat them for Thanksgiving. And it had a lot about turkeys but NOTHING about Thanksgiving and eating them. And the other part is that it said turkeys can fly, but then why dont they just fly away when people want to eat them?
A lot of things about turkeys just dont make any sense, and this book didnt help!!
So it should be called All About Turkeys Except Eating Them For Thanksgiving.
