Irish Wisdom – The Power Of Friendship (Part 2)

Inspirational Words of Wisdom. Friendship Poems Page 3 An Irish Friendship Wish May there always be work for your hands to do; May your purse always hold a coin or two; May the sun always shine on your window pane; May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain; May the hand of a friend always be near you; May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you. A Wish for a Friend Wishing you a rainbow For sunlight after showers - Miles and miles of Irish smiles For golden happy hours - Shamrocks at your doorway For luck and laughter too, And a host of friends that never ends Each day your whole life through! A Blessing for a Friend May the blessing of the rain be on you - the soft sweet rain. May it fall upon your spirit so that all the little flowers may spring up, and shed their sweetness on the air.

Christ be with me, be after me, be before me, and be at my right and left hand. May everything I do be for Christ. God bless the corners of this house And be the lintel blessed. Bless the hearth, the table too And bless each place of rest. Bless each door that opens wide To stranger, kith and kin; Bless each shining window-pane That lets the sunshine in.
